About Us

Eastern Shore Ground Search and Rescue is a community-based volunteer emergency response organization.
Our purpose is to find and rescue lost person(s). ESGSAR's territory covers from Porter`s Lake to Mooseland and up the Meagher`s Grant Rd.(Hwy.357) to Crawford`s Bridge. Our team can also provide assistance to teams outside our area when requested.
Our base is at 5688 Highway #7 Head of Chezzetcook where we have classroom facilities and store our command bus, support vehicles boats and kayaks.

ESGSAR has a training committee of professional, dedicated personnel who spend a great deal of time fine tuning and presenting training programs to our team members. All of these programs have theory and practice components.
